Ohio Crafted Creations wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because our products are handcrafted and many are produced in small quantities, the following policy explains how returns, refunds, damaged items, and custom orders are handled.
Returns
We accept returns on eligible, non-custom items when you contact us within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unused
- In its original condition
- Returned with any included components or accessories
- Packaged appropriately to prevent damage during return shipping
Before returning an item, please contact us at contact@ohiocraftedcreations.com so we can provide return instructions.
Return Shipping
For ordinary returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error by Ohio Crafted Creations or the item arrived damaged or defective.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method when returning an item. Ohio Crafted Creations cannot be responsible for return packages lost or damaged in transit.
Refunds
Once a returned item is received, we will inspect it and notify you regarding the status of your refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, credit card company, or payment provider.
Items returned used, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise not in their original condition may not qualify for a full refund, except where required by applicable law.
Custom & Personalized Items
Custom-made, personalized, engraved, or otherwise made-to-order products are generally final sale and cannot be returned simply because the customer changes their mind.
We will, however, work with you if a custom or personalized item:
- Arrives damaged
- Is defective
- Is significantly different from the approved order details due to an error by Ohio Crafted Creations
If there is a problem with a custom item, please contact us so we can determine an appropriate solution.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery whenever possible.
Include:
- Your name and order information
- A description of the problem
- Photographs of the item
- Photographs of the shipping packaging if damage occurred during transit
Please retain the item and packaging until we have had an opportunity to review the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair, refund, or another appropriate solution.
This requested reporting period does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
Cancellations
Orders for standard products may generally be cancelled before the order has entered production or been shipped.
For custom or personalized work, cancellation may not be possible once materials have been purchased, personalization has begun, or production has started.
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at contact@ohiocraftedcreations.com.
We will let you know whether the order can still be cancelled and whether any costs have already been incurred.
Exchanges
Ohio Crafted Creations does not maintain a formal exchange program.
If you purchased an eligible standard item and would prefer a different product, you may return the original item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us before placing another order so we can determine the appropriate solution.
Natural Materials & Handmade Variations
Many Ohio Crafted Creations products are made from real wood and other natural materials.
Wood grain, color, figure, knots, mineral streaks, and other natural characteristics will vary from piece to piece. Small variations in handmade products are normal and are part of what makes each piece unique.
These normal variations are not considered defects.
